Of course I've seen the network today. Wrapping that fowl in bacon only took most of my day, not the whole thing.

Okay, so what about Magneto and Billy?

That bacon monstrosity looks disgusting, btw.

Don't be jealous of my bacon fowl. It's unbecoming.

There's not much we can do without being obvious.

I am so not jealous. Just don't come calling me to play nurse when you're regretting this decision tomorrow.

There's no turning back. I have no regrets.

He may be a super villain, but we don't need a catalyst. Provoking him...It seems counter-intuitive, especially while Billy's around. That's not the part that we need to worry about.

So what do you think we need to worry about?

[hawkingbird]

I just worry sometimes because Billy really wants a family. Like, he loves his parents but he wants his biological family in his life too. And I worry his judgement on Magneto might be affected.

[hawkingbird]

And I don't always hate Magneto! The Magneto in my timeline isn't all bad, and he was a pretty cool grandfather when I was around him! But this guy hasn't gone through the same things that will redeem himself yet.

[hawkingbird]

Ugh, forget it.

[badnewsboy]

[it takes him a moment, and he sits down on the floor, staring at his phone.]

We'll figure it out. We'll save everyone.

What if they don't want to be saved?

This comes after some hesitation.

Sometimes we become swallowed in the world. It may be hard to see out. What he believes he's doing may not be evil but just. There are still people who are hurt in the process.

[badnewsboy]

And what then?

[badnewsboy]

Shall we let it stop us?

[badnewsboy]

What is worse? Doing something evil and deliberate, or hurting people while you believe that you're making the world better for the sake of others?

[badnewsboy]

I have no words of comfort. If something needs to be done, then we do it.

You really are different from the Loki I know.

Kinda gives me hope.

If someone like me can be given a second chance, then there may be hope for a lot of things.

[hawkingbird]

There should always be hope. We make ourselves who we are. Thanks for reminding me.
