Twenty-fifth flight

So a year ago today, I came here to New Moore for the first time. It don't hardly seem like it's been that long, but there it is on the calendar. Don't really know how to feel about it, seeing as how I ain't home and hardly seen my crew since I got here, but has it really been so bad? I don't think so.

I have a lot of people here who I love and care about, and who love and care about me back, and I don't think I need much more than that.

Thanks, everyone. Everyone I know, and everyone I don't know, for being a part of my life here. When you get right down to it, my life's been pretty good, and it keeps getting better.

It does, even when you try not to think about it that way. Me, I try to make the most of what I got while I'm here.

Not a bad outlook to have. I could probably do with a similar attitude adjustment.

[It shouldn't be too hard. There are some things that she misses about home, but some things that she's glad to have her escape from, both personal and professional. Plus, after having a long string of assassins sent after her for the last month or so that she was there, New Moore is practically a vacation.]
