Party Log.

Who: Kaworu, Shinji, Billy, Dave, Aradia, Laura, Alois, Onceler, Roxy & Steph, were invited & pretty much anyone who wanted to show up is welcome.
What: A "Welcome to New Moore" party for Shinji that turns into a sleepover.  Then in the morning, to an amnesia-fest.
Where: Kaworu & Billy's Apartment.
When: starting at 8 PM, 12/12/12.

Unlike most prospective party hosts, Kaworu was not anxious.  Snacks and movies had been safely procured.  Now, festivities would ensue.  he foresaw no complications, and was greatly looking forward to the social opportunities.  Encouraging ikari to form bonds in a naurturing environment would be beneficial; he was certain of it.  All that remained was to wait for the party to begin, presumably with the arrival of Mister Strider or miss Lalonde, who 'brought the party,' apparently.  The nuance of the tradition escaped him.  perhaps it was related to blondes having more fun.  In which case, Miss brown's arrival would be sufficient as well.

Shinji stood outside the apartment door, unsure of what he should do. It WAS eight, so technically he was on time, but he really couldn't hear a lot of noise coming from inside. Of course, that didn't necessarily mean anything, they might just be super quiet, and since the party was to welcome him then shouldn't he be there anyway...?

He took a deep breath, telling himself he was definitely over-thinking it, and knocked on the door.

The door opened extremely promptly, so Kaworu's smiling face, as usual, just slightly too close for comfort.

"Ikari. Please come in."

Hello, sudden Kaworu face, Shinji's gonna awkwardly look aside and into your apartment. "Um, thank you. Am I too early?"

"Not at all."

Kaworu steps back to allow him in, and yet uncannily gives him just enough space to make it while still requiring them to be in close proximity if he intends to enter.

"I am expecting other arrivals at any moment. It is convenient for you to be the first."

Aradia doesn't worry much about time; she knows when the party begins and the party ends and she knows you don't show up right away. Fashionably late is anywhere from half an hour to an hour, so it's 8:30 by the time she shows up. Dave and Roxy may bring the party, but Aradia put herself in charge of bringing the party hats. And if you dont have one by the time she shows up, you're getting one.

"Miss Megido."

Kaworu is beaming. It's by far the strongest display of emotion anyone has ever seen from him, and the arrival of another friend and a piece of traditional celebratory garb is only further brightening his evening.

She's already floating up to put it right on top of his head, though he will have to secure it himself.

"I hope I didn't miss anything," she said brightly, touching back down on the ground, but of course she probably hadn't. Parties don't start until Striders walk in, and who would ever count on one of them to be on time? It's not cool.

"I have only just opened the drinks."

He adjusts the hat to his satisfaction, and guides her across the room.

"Aradia Megido, I would like for you to meet Shinji Ikari."

She didn't see the appeal. But then, he wasn't her friend, he was Kaworu's, and she wasn't about to be rude at a party.

"It's very nice to meet you!"
