[Two men are laying on a bed, notes and books scattered around them. Remus and Sirius had fallen asleep in the middle of working and between nightmares and instincts, they have ended up very close to each other, arms and legs tangled up, facing each other with barely an inch between them.

Sirius isn't wearing a shirt, since he'd been getting comfortable. Remus, conscious of his scars, is still fully dressed.

It's not the first time Sirius wakes up like this since getting here. Usually he'd just let go of Remus, roll to the side and pretend it didn't happen, not a big deal. They don't talk about it, but he knows they both need closeness and each other.

Today, though, he knows no such thing. He doesn't know himself, doesn't know Remus, doesn't remember how he got here or anything other than what is happening right now. He is holding a man he can't recall ever seeing in his arms and he doesn't even know his own name.

With shock settling in, Sirius pushes away from Remus, scrambling backwards hastily until he ends up on the floor with a dull thud, legs still on the bed and hitting Remus's body.]

What in Merlin's name?!

[Wait.]

Who's Merlin? Who are you?

[Quite a while later, Sirius looks a bit more settled. He's still not bothered to get dressed, but at least he - with Moony's help - has started to figure his life out. He thinks. So he's smiling into the camera - it had taken a while to turn the device on and he doesn't know how to change the setting - and hopes someone out there might know more about him.]

Hello! I'm not sure who all can see this, but it's worth a try. I've lost my memories and I'd appreciate if anyone could tell me who I am. All I know so far is that my name is Padfoot, so I'm guessing my parents hate me.

Her name is Ukraine. From the sounds of it, things like this aren't exactly uncommon here in New Moore. Which is the name of the island, apparently.
