[Connor looks confused, as per usual, once the feed opens. He appears to be somewhere downtown, having been out exploring as much as possible. There's just one problem, though.]

I know I'm not the only one who's having trouble remembering things. Uh... does anyone else have any kind of... weird powers?

[There's an awkward pause, and he looks down at his shoes as he shifts his weight.]

I accidentally broke a couple of doors off their hinges. And maybe a lamppost. That's not normal, right?

[The wind dies down as Jin walks over with a cheerful grin and a matching wave.]

Aye, innit tho? And whoo-ee, the island's a sight t'see from above!

It's got to be pretty impressive. Even if we don't know what's going on, we can take a few minutes to sight-see, right?

[He laughs.]

That's what I like ta hear!

[He puzzles for a minute.]

Reckon the easiest way would be ta have ye hold onta me back. Safest too, probly, since landin's the one thing I ain't got the hang of yet. That way if we take a tumble it'll be me what takes the hit.

Are you sure? I won't be too heavy?

[He tilts his head, curious.]

I mean, if you insist...

Nah, nah, not too heavy 't all. I reckon the wind's picked up plenty o' things heavier than ye before.

As a matter o' fact, I do insist!

[Said with a grin that says he wouldn't hold it against him if he backed out, but as long as he's on the fence about it he might as well grab on.

His ears are twitching like mad.]

Alright, then. Like this?

[He approaches Jin tentatively, uncertain before grabbing a hold of his shoulders and pulling himself against his back.

This isn't weird, is it?]

Aye, that'll do, but ye'll need a better hold than that!

[And then Jin reaches back and hoists Connor up off the ground so that he's holding his legs near the back of the knee, hefting the boy's weight on his back like it ain't no thing.]

Ye got a good hold there? Here we go!

[And then the wind picks up again, building up around them until it's roaring in their ears, reaching a crazy amount of speed before it has the force necessary to lift them up off of the ground. It's slow-going at first, and there may be some minor structural damage, but once they get going in the air they take off quickly, rising over the buildings.]

[Connor clutches at Jin's shirt a hell of a lot more tightly as soon as they take off, startled by the sudden shift. He can't remember anything like it -- even if he had his memories, flight was something he had never experienced in any form.

As they rise and soar over buildings, his grip remains tight and white-knuckled, but he's smiling nonetheless. He raises his voice above the wind, shouting.]

This is awesome!

[If Jin minds having the strips of cloth he calls a shirt being grabbed at, then he doesn't say anything. As they soar up and the wind is no longer trapped in the relatively narrow street, Jin's laugh can be heard over the wind.

By the time they reach about as high as Jin's comfortable going with a passenger, and switch to a calmer hover the wind has quieted to white noise. Jin looks over his shoulder with a broad grin.]

Ye like it?

[He looks out again and lets out a low, impressed whistle.]

Would ye look at that view! 'S like the whole world is spread out at yer feet, it is.

I've never seen anything like it before.

[His grin says it all; he's enjoying himself, as odd as the situation might be. He looks down at the ground over Jin's shoulder, and while the height is a little unsettling, the view itself is breathtaking, and that more than makes up for it.]

To be able to see the world like this every day... it must be pretty amazing.

[The air is crisp and cool, blowing lightly through their hair as they bob on the updrafts.

Jin's own grin widens at the grin on the teen's face, and his pointed ears give another happy wiggle. More than just seeing it for himself, the way he sees it if he doesn't at least offer to let everyone else see the awesome sight then he's not doing his job.]

Wouldn't know, I honestly just found out I could do it this morning. But a fella could certainly get used ta seein' a view like this, that he could.

How's a lap 'round the island sound t'ye?

Sounds good to me!

[The Memory Loss Mystery would still be there waiting for them when they touched down.]

Let's see what else this place has to offer!

Aye, then a lap 'round it is!

[Jin's not even worried about the memory loss mystery. It'll sort itself out sooner or later, right? And until then, there's so much to explore that he might as well have fun with it.

He draws his legs up and shifts their orientation in the air, kicking off of seemingly nothing and stirring the air into a stream around them that pushes them forward with ease through the air. It rushes against their faces as they fly, and there's a small stream of air that gets caught around Jin's horn as they soar toward the perimeter of the island.]

[Connor is in awe of the scenery the whole while, holding on as tightly as he can manage, only occasionally worried about, you know, plummeting to his death. But Jin seems to have a good hold on him, which helps him to focus more on enjoying the ride.]

This place is a lot bigger than I thought it was...!

'S hard t'see the forest fer all the trees when yer on the ground!

[As they approach the small range of mountains, Jin drops in altitude low enough that they skim around and between the peaks, weaving through them one by one. With the forest down on one side and the ocean stretching out seemingly forever on the other, it feels like gliding on top of the world.]

[He's not exactly sure what that means, but he thinks he gets the gist of it. The sight continues to be beyond impressive, and Connor can't help thinking that flight by any other means probably can't hold a candle to this.

Still, as much as he's enjoying the view, he starts to feel just a little bit lightheaded and tenses up.]

Starting to feel kind of woozy up here.
