Well, it's not that there isn't a fair amount of strange things that happen here, but they usually seem to happen maybe once or twice a month, so we do have some lovely stretches in between! The island is a very pretty place, and other than your fairly routine crime, everyone is very nice, I've found.

Which isn't to say that it's perfect. We would all like to be able to go home, of course. But it isn't necessarily as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Oh... Oh, yes, of course. I'm sorry. That's paramount to anything else. I'm not sure how it works, but there are people who have had friends turn up while they were here. It's not a promise, but maybe... At least, there might be a hope?
