You'll have to define 'weird' before I can be sure.

For example, a quick look at an ecology textbook indicates that an island this size wouldn't normally support sufficient hunting ground or prey for a pack of wolves, especially if other predators are present as well. So the presence of wolves in the forest is one weird thing.

The underground ruins definitely qualify, and so do the exploding plants with the improbable creepy faces.

However, I'm assuming you don't mean any of those things, so a clearer notion of "weirdness" is definitely required.

...I'm not talking about wolves. I'm talking about people.

I have seen one person behaving suspiciously in the woods, but I don't think it's the person you're concerned about.
