Some Numberth Brew - A series of texts.

You know, the snow is actually a bit of a welcome change.

[Private - Tim]
I have a bit of a holiday gift to give you when you come in to work. Meant to do so earlier but I got a bit distracted in the past couple of weeks.

[Private - Aisling]
Are the saplings all right in this weather? If you are not too busy tending to your forest, I have another new drink for you to try.

[Private - Jack]
I know I've said already... but thank you.

[Private - Gwen]
... All right?

Sounds like fun.

[private text] heck yes we did

See you then.

That reminds me. I'm trying to net a new regular customer.
detectivewonder: (my hair is awesome)

[private text] good man.

Kate. Kate Bishop. We've been dating for a little while. I can't just leave her as a Starbox customer. It would be wrong.

Which, speaking of -- I've had the extra surveillance cameras pulled from both Kate and Allison Argent for a while now. Is there anywhere we need more coverage right now?

And can you help me explain to Jack why my weekly report is delayed? I don't want to lie, and I don't want to leave a lot of holes in it, but I'm... working on an ongoing project that requires some confidentiality to stay ethical, at this point.

[private text] what would dick grayson do?

I don't mind if he flirts. I'm pretty confident right now. And my brother taught me a few tricks, if I need them.

No, thank you. You know that I love spending time with you.

I had a really nice time and... Thank you. It hasn't left my pocket.

What? Why would you say that? You know how stupidly sentimental I get over things like that.

I miss the old place. I really do. But now, thanks to your incredible kindness, I'll have a piece of it to carry with me forever.
chronosexual: (sad)

[personal profile] chronosexual 2013-01-21 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? You don't think there was a reason I wanted Owen and Tosh's things locked up? It's so I can always have a piece of them with me. Something to remember them by.
chronosexual: (relaxed)

[personal profile] chronosexual 2013-01-21 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I try not to make it your problem. You've got enough things to worry about without needing to be concerned over my stupid things.

I love it.

They were just as surprised by the snow as I was! I check on them every day, though, and they're weathering it all right. I'll keep their spirits up. I wanted to see you anyway! I'll come visit in a little bit. You always find the tastiest drinks.

I'll tell you, but I don't think it'll be needed. I'll just make sure that I visit every day and help keep them quick. I'll be there soon!

((ooc: would you like to action play this out at all?))

[True to her word, Aisling was there a few minutes before closing, ducking into the shop with a laugh at her favorite chiming bells announcing her presence. Not that she was hard to miss, even at her height. Her monochromatic coloration stood out at any gathering and, of course, she was expected. Darting over to the counter with her usual disregard for any rules or clientele, Aisling bounced up just high enough to perch on the edge of the counter. Higher is always better. But she respected Ianto too much to go climbing his painstakingly neat shelves. She did, however, offer him a cheeky grin, and set herself to wait till he was done closing up shop. This place was starting to feel almost like home.]
