They are very friendly here, aren't they? I just had a long and amiable chat with a particularly outgoing young nurse. She even offered to show me the best places in town to get a bite to eat. Then they offered me this handy phone. I suppose you need a pleasant welcoming committee when you drop a bombshell like that one on a person.

[Play to Derek's desire to be in control without getting too suspicious. Peter looks away, as if this is the hardest thing to say, stares up and off at the ceiling as he noticeably stifles a sigh.]

And the Alpha pack?
[It has been so hard to hold off on his true curiosity, but he manages to pass it off as just another in a line of questions, and not his primary concern. Trapped on a force field island, fine. Trapped on a force field island with the Alpha Pack? That would be cause for immediate action.]
