Action
[No one can see him, not even himself. He forgot a long time ago what he looks like, and he wonders if anyone even remembers who he is. Not that he can exactly go and ask someone. He holds onto his cloak, digging his hands into the fine, intricately detailed fabric, more of a decoration than a barrier against the cold. Snow falls wherever he walks, sticking to the ground a bit longer than normal snow. He talks to himself to keep himself company, mostly commenting on anyone else he sees. The curse missed his voice, even if it silenced it from everyone else. Right now he follows someone carrying groceries.]
Heading home?
[No answer.]
People are talking that there could be a blizzard. [No they're not.] Sure that's enough if you're stuck in your...whatever you call what you live in?
[No answer.]
[So he tries harder. He talks and talks, about the mundane and the extraordinary, until without thinking, he gives one light tug to the bag, causing the person to drop it, ruining everything and making a mess. Jack laughs, loudly and a little wild. He feels a little guilty afterward, but no real harm done, right? Now that the distraction's over, his mood sours once again. He doesn't know what else to do, but what other choice does he have but to keep trying? The snow whips around him violently, as he wanders, looking for someone new to follow.]

[Unseen or not, he bows in respect.] The pleasure is mine.
no subject
[She's smiling, though. It's nice to have simple, pleasant conversation, even if it's to someone she can only hear.]
Pray tell, wot happened to make you invisible to the eye? If you don't mind me asking.

[Meaning that the voice shares the trait as well. She can't exactly fault him for it without being a hypocrite, though.]
Wonder if your personal antagonist is in cahoots with the Queen of England.
no subject
Queen? [He never met her. Oh.] Is she the one responsible for the yours?
no subject
And yeah, she's the one that ordered it. She's a proper, jealous slag if I ever saw one.
no subject
I doubt it made her any more attractive. Do you think the person she hired to perform the curse is the same?
no subject
Yeah, it didn't. From what I've heard, she mostly wanted me to feel burdened by and pitiful towards my looks, not empowered or proud. As far as the old hag she hired goes, I haven't the slightest. There has been no hide nor hair of her since that fateful night.
no subject
Then her heart holds no true beauty. I am just sorry she took it out on you. Perhaps she kept some record of her plans where she suspects no one would ever find it.
no subject
She was also bitter about my father cheating on her, so I'm sure that never helped my particular case, either; I was doomed to be the object of her vengeance. And perhaps she did keep record, but I haven't the slightest as to where they would be housed nor the means to come into contact with them.
no subject
I can not help but to think her vengeance brought no happiness to anyone. No, she knows you, doesn't she? But, when we are able to leave this place, I would like to help if I can.
no subject
[Surprise wipes the previous expression clean off her visage; however, a gentle grin soon sweeps across her lips as she holds her hand out, catching some of the snow.]
Are you doing that?
no subject
[His smile broadens, and he bows before dancing in the snow.]
I am. It does that sometimes. Do you like it?
no subject
[The snow is still... incredible. Completely out of nowhere, practically magical ---in the best way possible.]
Actually, yes, I do. It's beautiful.
no subject
[He watches fondly, laughing and catching some of the snow with his hands.]
It's nice to know someone else thinks that.
no subject
[She might not be able to see him, but she can certainly see the smile pile of snowflakes growing in midair. At least she's able to look at him... somewhat.]
I might not be that great of a person, but I can appreciate the little things. Sometimes.
no subject
The important little things. And I beg to differ.
no subject
[She pauses for a beat, biting her bottom lip for a short moment.]
You know, if make enough snow, it might reveal your form a bit better. At least I'd be able to somewot-see it.
no subject
[Some of the snow moves as he shifts around, arms folded in thought.]
I could try that. It will get colder.
no subject
As far as the cold, I can hold my shall tighter.
[She shifts the fabric so it hangs over her shoulders and her arms, holding it closed below her bosom.]
no subject
All right. I can't make it warmer, but I can make it stop snowing if it gets too cold.
[The wind picks up around them, the air thick with fluffy, soft flakes.]
no subject
[She'd apologize for the slight innuendo thrown in there, but it's in her nature and cynical humor to.
With one hand clasping her shall shut, she reaches out with the other to touch the new snow.]
This is still nothing short of amazing.
no subject
The ground is nearly completely covered now, snow randomly piling in some areas. Jack crouches down, grabbing the snow and rubbing it over his clothes to try and see if it works.]
Your words do wonders for my ego. It is nice to know it goes appreciated. Winter is a time meant for joy, and magic, not an inconvenience.
no subject
[She's able to pinpoint him with some more accuracy; details are difficult to find, but she's able to make out a general shape.]
I think it might be working.
no subject
[He leans forward, arms outstretched, jumping in the air.]
Did you see that?
