I wasn't expecting to come to this place, but it is a nice area. [Though it is centered around the wrong time frame, let alone the wrong world.]
A wonderful reminder of days long past, but its simply that. A reminder. The future's waiting and I must return to it. Before Pluto and the rest of my Senshi begin to worry.
Any information about this place, how it came to be, or a way home, would be most appreciated.
Thank you so much.

[A very polite fellow, though from his voice he does sound young. Perhaps in his teens, but there is an air of sophistication about him. If time lines and other worlds are coming together at this single point it'll be fun to learn about him and his world.
Serenity will wait patiently in the courtyard on a bench. Prim, and proper but there is a warmth about her that doesn't make her seem unapproachable. She seems to be taking the flowers and trees in.]

He approaches Serenity, bowing his head to her. As per customs, he won't sit down next to her unless offered. Even though he was studying to be a lawyer, he knew quite a bit about diplomacy and customs.]
It's an honor to meet you, Votre Majesté.
[Look at him. He can hear Enjolras shouting at him in the back of his mind, already. But he is nothing if not a gentleman, awkward as he may be sometimes.]
no subject
It's honor to meet you too, Sir. A pleasure to meet with you in person. My name is Serenity, Queen of Neo-Tokyo. Please sit, it's been some time since I've meet someone new.
[And to have a conversation that wasn't about business.
She takes note of his accent and choice of words. He's from France, quite interesting.]

As soon as she says so, he takes a seat next to her. It's quite nice to get some fresh air, especially since he's still a bit woozy from these new revelations.]
My name is Marius Pontmercy. I currently live in Paris...though I suppose you say that I did live in Paris, before all of this played out.

She scoots a little to allow him to sit down next to her. There's a fond smile on her face.]
Paris? A beautiful city especially at night.
[ooc: /headdesk. She's from Crystal Tokyo, FORGIVE ME!]
no worries!!
[Admittedly, in the shabby apartment he currently kept with Courfeyrac, it was impossible to see the Seine, but he had seen it every night as a child.]
It's a bit of a romantic notion, though, especially for people not native to the city. There are many places where it's dangerous to walk alone at night. One could be robbed and beaten within an inch of his life.
[The Rue Plumet where Cosette lived, for example.]
still /headdesk
A romantic notion and more, something I'm sure people have done before, but haven't been hurt. [Hopefully.]
Has that ever happen to you, Marius?
no subject
[He chuckles a little, then sighs, looking down at his hands.]
Almost. Before I came here, I was walking on the Rue Plumet after visiting my beloved. On the way home, there were whispers that there was very nearly a serious robbery there.
no subject
I hope you weren't hurt. Perhaps, when you're able to return home you and your beloved can watch the stars on the roof. In a safe, fashion, of course.

[If he was ever able to get her out of her father's house for more than just stealing moments.
He notices the sparkling in her eyes, giving her a fond smile.]
You sound like you may be speaking from experience, madame.
omfg this is too sweet :3
Serenity chuckles softly, looking down at her folded hands on her lap for a briefly moment.]
I am. I met my husband when I was young, perhaps around your age. Any time we could spent together was cherished. Stolen moments that lead up to a lifetime together.
no subject
[His eyes light up again, and he smiles at her, the apples of his cheeks turning red.]
Yes, that's just like Cosette and I. Her father is very protective of her, so we may only see eachother for short moments each day...
no subject
I...[She lets out another soft chuckle, this one a touch more sad as she remembers something.] now know how my mother felt when I first met with my husband. How worried and protective, but she and I have learned to let go and let destiny run its course.
[Aww, he's blushing. How sweet.]
I'm sure your time with Cosette will come, you only need to be patient.

[As taboo as it seems, this woman is royal, wise beyond her years...but she is an ethereal beauty, full of youth.]
Pardon me, madame, it's just...you seem so young, almost matching me in age.
no subject
[Another chuckle, briefly debating if she should tell him her real age. No, best not to give him a headache.]
After I ascended to the throne I ceased to age. It's a power I hold and one I share with my people.
no subject
Usagi...what sort of name is that? Is she a good daughter?
no subject
Usagi, it's Japanese. We both come from Japan, an oriental country far from Paris.
{nods.] She's a sweet young woman. Growing up each day and I miss terribly. But I know she's doing well.
no subject
[He holds up the phone he's been using to communicate with the rest of New Moore with.]
I hope you're able to see your dear Usagi soon, Queen Serenity.

Science is something that man kind has had and discovered. Magic is of the divine, when the two are combined together they can create wondrous things. The device, or phone, is man made. It's a piece of the future. An testament to what man kind has achieved.
[Really, this young man is too sweet for words. His lovely young lady will be lucky to have him.]
I hope so too, but I won't dwell on it too much. I know she's being taken cared for and happy with the rest of our family.
no subject
[He chuckles a little, though, imagining his friends with these sort of devices. Jean Prouvaire would be the sort to ask all who had them philosophical questions over the shared space, and Grantaire would spend entire meetings in the Musain making snide commentary on his phone about whatever Enjolras was giving a rousing speech about.]
Your husband...is he good to you as well?
[God above, he can only hope Cosette is as happy and lovely as Serenity is when they are wed.]
no subject
[Yes, phones were wonderful, but at the same time...it was hard to maintain a conversation with someone while texting someone else. But the devices do come in handy.
Another nod as a fondness appears in her eyes.]
Yes, he's the only man I've ever wanted to be with. He's a kind, strong and supportive man.
no subject
[Oh, he understands everything her husband sees in her. The queen is youthful and radiant, and he's quite lucky to have her.]
I wish you many happy days, madame.
no subject
[She can see why Cosette would be in love with Marius. He is, in some ways, like her husband. Kind with a strong and good heart.]
I wish you many happy days too, Marius. If you wouldn't mind, please, tell me more about you or your lovely Cosette.
