It took me much longer.

But you reached that goal while the rest of Asgard flounders.

The All-Father remained in power until he believed I'd learned my lesson. Only then could I return to my original self and to Asgard. There was no absence.

The father you know is very different from my own. Though he knows grief over my death and loss, you would be surprised to see it otherwise.
