Nothing really, I didn't think there would be young children here.

Regardless, you should still stay in school. Maybe even see if they could bump you up a grade.

I know everything a second grader should know as well.

Have you asked to be tested and place in a higher grade? I'm sure the school would be excited to place you in a more accelerated program...

Though if you skip some grades, you'll be missing a vital part of your childhood.

I know everything a sixth grader should know-probably even an ninth grader should. I need someone else to teach me.

Have you looked into getting a private tutor?

[miniholmes]

No. I learn better if read in books and do experiments on my own. ...And the only person I want to learn from I can't even properly say hi too.

Learning isn't just focusing on understanding new material. it's a journey, one that's usually better if you're surrounded by others.

That doesn't make any sense. I learn just fine on my own. Especially since I'm so far ahead of everyone else.

But you learn more by experiencing it with others. I believe there's a quote or saying that states, "no one of us is as smart as all of us."

That saying couldn't be more inaccurate.

Of course I've heard it. But I don't see what that has to do with anything.

It has to do with a lot of things. The quote I gave earlier was disregarded by you.

We understand more about the world by interacting and learning with one another.

Maybe you do. Same rules don't apply for those so far ahead of everyone else.

You're letting your pride get the better of you. [Really, she's never had someone so young be this much of a handful.]

The moment you think the rules don't apply to you, it will lead you down a road that most would avoid. There's a fine line between brilliance and insanity.

I'm not. You're saying that everyone learns better in a group, but that's not so! While everyone else in my class is reading Doctor Seuss I'm reading Edgar Allen Poe.

Everyone can learn from everyone else. You're supplying one instance where you're head and I'm sure there are many more. But in missing two days of school, you maybe missing something you may not have known. There could be class experiments that are vital not to your education, but to your childhood.

Since you're far ahead of your classmates, why not help them along?

I don't really have the patience for that. I get along with everyone okay, I guess. But since they're nowhere near my level they're no fun to talk too.

Find common ground to talk about with your classmates.

The point I'm trying to make is, you only have one childhood. Enjoy it while you can. The memories you make now will last a lifetime and will be the ones you reflect on later in life.

There are more important things I could be doing with my time. Like reading books on forensic science.
