I'm able to state from empirical evidence that being a pirate is not as entertaining or personally rewarding the second time around, particularly when you lose your identity in the process.
Are we to expect the re-occurrence of that ridiculous business again after twelve months?
Honestly, I have far better things to be doing than reliving a terribly romanticised version of my youth.

[Private: The Doctor]
I propose that we both make efforts to stay as far away from one another as possible should this happen again next year.
I have no desire to make a repeat of what happened.

Really? [...Huh. It's the reason she was kept in the tower all her life.] That's strange.

[Frankly, magic is the norm for her, even if it just takes the form of her healing hair.]

Well, maybe they just need to remember to believe. There's a magic shop downtown, isn't there? Maybe the next time someone says it isn't real, we can tell them to go visit it. That might be the easiest way to remind them.

I'm pretty sure there are things logic can't explain. Maybe there's a potion to turn rocks into flowers; there's no way that happens in nature.

[Okay, maybe she didn't get to go down on the ground, but she at least had some plants in the planter box outside the tower window and a few inside.]

Hopefully! And worst case scenario, I'm sure being here long enough will help open their eyes. There are so many different people from different places where different things exist.

I'd say it wouldn't hurt. And if he does, you'll know what to show the people who don't believe.

[She herself wouldn't have a problem proving magic exists, but with the exception of one person who had yet to spill her secret, she hasn't used her hair on anyone. It was still something to be protected, guarded, especially in a city full of people she doesn't all know.]
