There's more than just bloodthirsty wolves out at night, so stay indoors after sundown unless you have a death wish. This place grows more dangerous by the night, and going out drinking is a great way to make yourself stupidly vulnerable. Keep your wits about you, already. It shouldn't be as hard as you're all making it out to be.

[Lin was ready and waiting for him in the shadow of an overhanging awning, looking down the slight hill into the large residential district she'd mentioned. The pack gathering was actually important, but it was only part of why she was here. If he really hadn't been bitten yet, she needed to get to him before someone else did. It was only a matter of time. Besides, he could benefit from this. Not to mention that he would make an excellent addition to her coven. She could think of half a dozen things she could use him for off hand, and she was sure there were others. The only question was how to do it. And for that she'd have to see him.]

[ It doesn't take him long to get an idea something's amiss here. Where was she getting leads from if he's got all the sources right here? Wolves? He'd imagine you'd only get sources from wolves if you're part of it. Oh, Lin. He tries to prepare as best he can for it-- he's been prepared for wolves all day.

All that's loaded in the gun on him are tranquilizers.

He still shows up, of course. Five minutes. On time. Cautious as he approaches in her line of sight but keeping a usual outwardly calm demeanor. Come out come out. ]

[There he was. Right on time. Lin stepped out into the dim light of a nearby street lamp, not bothering to wave. He'd see her. He'd be carrying, too, given the time, place, and what's going on, but that was good. If they did get attacked out here, she'd prefer to not have to give him everything in a burst of speed and power. He could defend himself.

She crossed her arms, looking back toward the housing as a howl rose in the night.]

Coulson. Good. Any trouble on the way?

[ He heads over to her once she's spotted, but keeps a bit of distance between them. He's not close enough to grab without her taking a step towards him, for example. Not that she would. Maybe. It's a precaution.

Howling in the night and Coulson's looking at her. ]

None worth noting. Just a couple of odd strays of the non-fur variety.

[She looks sharply at him. Of the non-fur variety? Meaning muggers or vampires? Hm. She couldn't see any bites on him.]

[ No bites here. Maybe a scratch or two but not from anything infectious and nothing deep. ]
