[Locked to Sheska and Julie]
I'm sorry to say, we will no longer be working at the station together. I'm afraid I've been let go. Do let me know if there's ever anything I can do to help.
[Locked to Kyon and Haruhi]
It seems that little stunt this weekend lost me my job at the station. Don't worry, though - all that means is that I'll have more time to devote to the SOS Brigade.
[Locked to Aqua, Aisling, Sirius, Rogue, and Sarah]
As my friends, I wanted to let you know that I won't be working at the police station anymore. However, I would appreciate if you could keep quiet about it.

Who knows how long they're there until their stomachs start to rumble. The idea of cooking is brought up again and both teens head into the kitchen to create something new. Sadly, their attempts are futile. Somewhere along the way one mistake is made, then another and another and their cooked food tastes horrible. It was sad they couldn't make a nice meal, but it's not something that dampens either of their moods. In fact, they're laughing about it.]
I can't believe it came out like that. I mean...it seemed pretty easy to make but..how did it wind up tasting like soy sauce and sugar?
[action]
[He grins at her.] It's a good thing you were ready with your water magic - fire extinguishers are hard to use, and it would have taken a minute to get it. Besides, they're always a disaster to clean up.
[He finishes scraping the charred remains of their meal off the stove-top, takes a slightly exaggerated sigh, then looks over at her, eyebrows raise.] So - takeout?
Re: [action]
[She let's out another chuckle, moving to the sink to wash her hands and push up her bangs with her forearm.] It's a good thing we decided to keep the fire low. Anything higher and this place would've been covered in ice and snow.
[Plus, it would make cleaning waaayyy more difficult.]
Take-out works, get whatever you like. I can finish cleaning up.
[action]
[Then he nods when she agrees to takeout, and makes his way into the other room to make the call. Chinese sounded good right about now - close to home, but different enough that the Americanized version didn't taste too weird to him.]
[action]
She stays in the kitchen, the sound of the faucet running makes it hard to hear what exactly Koizumi is ordering. Aqua's soaking and resoaking different bowls before scrubbing them over and over again. She will make them clean no matter what!]
[action]
After paying and leaving the man with a handsome tip, he comes back in with two plastic containers of meat and vegetables, a bag with egg rolls and crab rangoon, and several cartons of rice.] Ah, here we are, Aqua. [He spreads everything out on the table, then goes to the kitchen - tossing the cheap break off chop sticks that had come with the meal down on the counter, and instead taking out a couple pairs of good, high quality ones from a drawer - before making his way to the fridge. He takes out a carton of soy milk before turning to Aqua.] What would you like to drink?
[action]
Ahh, water would be fine. Thank you.
[Wait a moment.]
Did the take-out place really give us non-wooden chopsticks?
[action]
[action]
Alright, if you say so. I wouldn't mind using the other ones.
[action]
He takes them back from her, than makes his way to the drawer and replaces them with an unadorned black pair. They're still nice, much better quality than the restaurant ones - but nothing she should have to worry about ruining.] Would these be better?
[action]
Ahh, I suppose? I mean, I think I would've been fine with the regular chopsticks. But...thank you. [She's not about to disrespect him by not using them.]
Do you think you could show me how to use them? I've used them once or twice before, but I'm not an expert on using them.
[action]
[He smiles at the question, twirling his own set absently.] Of course, I would be more than happy to show you.
[He comes over and positions himself behind her, head over her shoulder, so he's in a spot to position her hands in his. His hands are soft, and gentle.] You put the first one on top of your ring finger, like this, to hold it completely steady. Then you place the second one between your other two fingers, so it's free to move around. Not quite... like that, see?
[action]
I think I got it. I'll just have to practice a little more.
[She turns her head to the side to press a kiss to his cheek.]
Thank you.
[action]
[He opens the cartons, serving her first, and then beginning to eat.]
[action]
She loses one piece of food then another.]
....I swear I'm usually better at this.
