You might want to do a lesson on Emile Bernard before that. Gauguin is probably already in the plan, but Bernard would let you talk about Synthetism too. Then you could shift over to Asian art if you didn't want to focus only on Western movements.

There's not really any point to knowing history if you ignore artistic movements that coincided with it. Plus, I was bored over spring break back in middle school, so it was like, why not?
