Our new Chief seems like a pretty good guy. I've been trying to help out, he's been working so hard to put all those release forms in order and there really are a lot more than I realized. I never quite noticed just how much paperwork is involved in our job. My partner usually does most of that filing.

Does anyone want to join me for a picnic this weekend? Looks like it might be nice out and I could use a bit of fresh air. Desk duty is making me a little ... what was that term? Stir-crazy? Doesn't make much sense but either way, I really want to get outside and stretch my legs. Maybe we can get together some people for a paintball tournament? I saw a flier about it at the range. Sounds like fun!

Well, you never know. No one ever expects these things, and there's got to be some kind of rift here... with all these people coming in...

Problem is that this place is so far behind! So hard to get anything advanced here! And I definitely don't want to go crawling to your father's old "friend". He'd enjoy that far too much for me to be all right with it.
