That sounds great! I could really use some help with the math homework for this week too... multiplication doesn't make any sense. Why doesn't three times six equal nine?

Because multiplying is putting together more than one group of things, rather than just two groups. So you can look at the first number as the number of groups, and the second number as how many things are in each group. ... This is much easier to explain in person. Have you ever tried chocolate? Will it make you sick?
