[Certainly not fine enough for Ryoji to take the hint. Instead, a few hours later, there's a familiar yellow scarf that can be seen through the peep hole on his door. There's a friendly wave and a concerned smile that accompanies him. To say that he knew the type would be a lie, so he liked to settle for "he knew Kyouya-san." He knew he wouldn't miss a function unless something was terribly wrong—and he hadn't decided whether or not Kyouya would say something was wrong.

So he decided to see for himself.]

[Kyouya stared through the peephole, a low groan at the back of his throat. His blood was on fire, his hair out of sorts. He had already taken three cold showers in an attempt to rid himself of the problem the chocolates had caused. ow he was dressed in a pair of loose slacks, a towel draped over his shoulders to catch the drips of water from his hair. The heat in the apartment was off. Anything to lower the temperature.

Tugging the door open a fraction, he leaned against the doorway, staring at his 'guest with an attempt at a frown.]

I told you I was fine, Ryoji.

[He didn't look fine. He certainly didn't feel fine.

[It was colder in the apartment than it was in the hallway. He could feel cold air radiating from the doorway. He managed to keep his pleasant expression, even after briefly surveying Kyouya and his situation. He had already picked up on a few things, and the most obvious that everyone missed was that Kyouya didn't like showing any weakness, no matter what it was.

He wasn't about to let him hole himself away and take care of something by himself.]

You keep saying that, but the more you do the less I believe you.

[He keeps his tone gentle and absolved. It's more concern than anything else.]

[Kyouya adopted his most apathetic expression, forcibly ignoring the coiling heat aising the temperature of his skin. He tugged the towel over his head, going back to drying off, and left the door open for Ryoji.]

It will pass. You should go to the meeting.

[There's no hesitation as he follows him in, shutting the door with a gentle click as he trails in. He stands quietly, allowing Kyouya-san to dry his hair off. He notes how chilly it is once again.]

I wanted to see you, first.

Are you sure, Kyouya-sempai? Do you need anything? How can I help? I mean.. you've done so much for us that I can't help but worry that you haven't been taken care of.. how can I show my appreciation?

No. I do not need anything. Just keep an eye on Suou. You know how he gets about these things.

I do, but...I'm not really sure what to do for our date. I was hoping you'd be able to help?
