[Castle is trying not to sound desperate, but a little nervousness is seeping into his tone.]

If you'd believe it, I'm still available to go to the dance! I know, it's quite the shocker. Me. Without a date. To the mandatory dance. So if anybody is still in need of a date, I would be more than happy to oblige. I am told I'm quite the dancer, and I make very good company.
