[Ah yes, he knows that noise. He opens the door just in time to witness the TARDIS fully materialising]

The door opens and the Doctor pops his head out.

"Arthur, I presume? Nice to meet you in person. Come on in, then!"

He steps back inside, leaving the door open for Arthur. Oh, he supposes that if he's watched the show, he won't be saying the whole "bigger on the inside" bit. Ah, well.

"Aha, excellent.."

Arthur does just that, pausing in the doorway and going suitably wide-eyed at what he sees.

"... She's gorgeous."

The Doctor grins and touches the console tenderly, looking up at her.

"Isn't she, though? I've been with her for 700 some years, and she's still the most beautiful thing I've ever known."

He looks back at Arthur, liking him more than he did already.

"Most people are impressed by the bigger on the inside part, but that's often as far as it goes. Not many people can really see her."
