Oh, now really, this is much more like it! Finally, when I ask for a decent fishing spot, I get one! It's taken long enough, I must say. Not a place I've been to before, which is saying something. I'll have to have a look 'round after!
Now, where's the best fishing spot?

How could anyone think of fishing in a time like this?

Yes, Aziraphale. No one forces the fish to take the worm. If it happens to succumb to the temptation placed in front of it, well, the fish is the one who bites.

I'm you from the future. Your 11th regeneration. The bloke who replied just above is our 10th regeneration.
Been a long while since there have been this many of me together, hasn't it?

To be honest, we're not entirely sure how this is actually possible. Long story short, we're trapped on this island, and according to the local authorities, up till we came here, we were all fictional. Apparently people pop into existence all the time, and disappear just as suddenly. According to accounts, this regeneration has been here several times before, and yet I always come back - from different points in my own timestream, no less - with no memories of the previous times. We all do have the TARDIS, by the way - although the one the other us has is actually from a previous time I was here, as his version of our old girl was left behind.
It might just be some sort of dimensional bleeding, although that presents its own difficulties - but with recent events, that shouldn't be possible. Oh, and I can't tell you that. Oops, sorry. Spoilers.
If they are telling the truth, which many inhabitants of the island severely doubt - although I recently met Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, from some sort of modern spin-off on the books, no less - it's possible that we are severed from our timestreams when we come here, so that we are in truth no longer connected and our being here presents no difficulties.
Time itself is much more wibbly than it aught to be here - all sorts of interesting shenanigans that, by all rights, shouldn't even be possible. Things we've never seen before, or come up with any reasonable - or unreasonable! - explanation for.
The most interesting and disturbing of which, is that, every day at midnight, time... stops. Doesn't pause, doesn't stutter, it stops dead for one hour precisely. The moon becomes greenish, there are pools of blood everywhere, and most everyone literally turns into a coffin. Not sure what that's all about, really, I didn't get here too long ago myself, and I've been busy - and nothing mechanical works, so I can't even do any scans with the sonic. Apparently it used to have some connections with kidnappings that were happening around here, but there haven't been any recently.
Now, the time vortex is still there, but the TARDIS can't target anywhere outside the force field surrounding the island. She'll be grounded unless you set the parameters of the universe as the boundaries of the island, and even then we can only hop around here, and just through space.
One more thing I should warn you about - the Master is here, and still at large. Hiding out, at the moment, but we have no doubt he'll be back.
Now then, any questions? No? Good!
