I'm looking for a girl named Madoka. she's my age, with pigtails and wearing a Mitakihara Middle School uniform. I don't know what this place's deal is, or why there are witches and familiars here too if what happened to me was fake- but it's obviously not safe, so she shouldn't be here.

And if you meet a girl named Akemi Homura, don't trust her.

She's a liar. Because she's so selfish, someone important to me was killed. She uses people for her own gain, they all do.

No, but seeing a discussion involving her I was reminded of a friend. And a judgment like that seemed rather harsh at first... however, given the circumstances...

Yeah, everyone in my class thought she was perfect when she transferred in. But now I know, she's a completely two-faced psycho!

Without knowing the events responsible, I can't judge... but it's true that I've known someone like that as well.

Then you know what I mean when I say you can't trust them.

Believe me when I say that I have learned that particular lesson very clearly, in the most dangerous classroom setting imaginable.

Well, it was actually a classroom, but one of my classmates had sealed it off from the rest of reality and was turning desks into spears to throw at me.

No, that was before I came here. The island has been positively safe by comparison.

I don't know, I've seen some pretty bad stuff and I've only been here one day.

However, is that really any stranger than belief in witches?

I didn't say I didn't believe in witches. Just that my own set of insane experiences should be considered equally plausible.

Fine, but it still doesn't make any sense! I mean, if I'm supposed to be fake, why are there witches here? Are witches and contracts and everything else real, but just me is the fake one? Is that what they're trying to tell me??
