my life felt pretty real to me you know and i am fairly certain somewhere along theres probably a philosophical paradigm to justify all of this in between the complexities of space time and consciousness

For me, it doesn't work that way. Oncce I'm part of a timeline, there's no more hopping around. Only going forward. The first rule of time travel is that crossing into established events is strictly forbidden.

i mean what if you mess something up and create an alternate timeline?
then you cant go back and fix it you just have to stay there and live it out

Oh, you know. Introducing yourself to someone before you meet them, from their perspective, so later you can prove time travel exists by going back and introducing yourself.

In any case, where I come from, you're blocked from interaction with other timelines. Changing things can result in destabilizing the nature of the universe. Collapsing it, summoning creatures from outside it in, forming great whonking black holes... negative consequences. The trick is, of course, that people often leave all the interesting bits out of history, so at any time you might or my not be creating a stable time loop. Takes a Time Lord to be sure. Fortunately, I am one, and I'm never wrong about that sort of thing.

i hope i can try it sometime
its difficult when everybody already knows everybody or you have to meet someone at a certain time that prevents you from having that kind of fun
but it is mostly the same for us
by the creation of stable time loops we can make sure the timeline that is
hmm
i dont want to say most important
but as you look at the course of history there is a clear progression of events
so lets say for myself and dave as the time players of our sessions the creation of stable time loops was to insure that those events transpired
i as the alpha aradia could not visit any doomed timelines but alternate versions of myself could skip back to the point where we diverged and present warnings that i could then implement to keep events proceeding
and thus we know the time loop is stable
or we know it is because at some point we went backwards or forwards to make something happen and then later had the knowledge that doing so would be necessary
right?
