Good to know when you run naked and screaming into the woods in the middle of the night apparently they don't send you to the psych ward, but to some fantastic beach paradise.

This place reminds me of one of the islands the cruise my parents took me on a couple years ago when they broke the news that they were splitting up. Which is only minorly traumatizing in comparison I guess to being told you're fictional! Which is really cute because I'm so over this already.

Is anything worthwhile actually here? Besides sun and sand, obviously.

Ah, it's an island called New Moore. That's pretty much all anybody knows. And before you ask, we can't leave either.

And why would I wanna leave? This is like spring break came early.

Well it's kinda... permanent, at least so far. And weird stuff happens sometimes.

...yeah somehow this place is weirder than home. Like, last week? I woke up and was a five year old again. And then my Jeep randomly showed up for no reason. It's really bizarre.

Skipping over the part that nowhere, fictional or not, deserves your junkheap of a car on its roads- You were five? As in years old?

Oh uh, crap, right. That. Does it help if I tell you wasn't actually Derek doing that? He um. My dad found out it wasn't him, he had an alibi and everything. So don't worry about him!

He was but the charges were dropped. He's not a bad guy, trust me.

So a couple months ago you were fine saying he was going to murder us in our own chemistry classroom and now he's a good guy? And let me guess, Jeffrey Dahmer was just misunderstood.

Well to be fair, Scott accused him kinda all on his own. I didn't know he was gonna do that.

Don't care. At least Allison is here, there's one halfway normal person to hang out with.

There are some nice people here, we've made a couple friends. So it's not all bad!
