Oookay. Normally, I would say being told that my life and my wife were fictional would rate pretty high on the list of 'things I never expected to happen in my life' but I've been worse things than fictional, I guess.

I'm sure you are all very nice people, just doing your jobs.

I'm on an island trapped in a force field in an alternate reality where my life is a storybook tale, my wife is apparently fictional and still in the other reality waiting for me to come and rescue her. There are apparently monsters and gun-wielding lunatics here that would probably like to kill us, and I'm stuck here with the wibbly wobbly bow-tie madman who probably finds the entire thing exciting.
