He's actually been very pleasant to me, though given his reputation, that's not surprising. He'd hardly be the first person I've met whose smooth talk didn't quite match up with their misdeeds.

Personally, I'm a monotheist, but there are enough people showing up and claiming to be from Asgard that I'm having trouble pretending that's not being challenged.

Stark mentioned a few things, but your other self has actually been helpful to me since he's shown up.

M'lady, gods exist whether or not you believe in them. Then there are those that are created from belief, and not terribly far from the truth.

The last few years, I've spent almost every waking moment among monsters, not knowing how or when I was going to get stabbed the back, but knowing it was coming.

I'm not afraid of him. So long as he minds his manners and is useful. As long as you're aware that someone is going to betray you eventually, they can't surprise you.

You're right. I should probably rephrase myself.

I'm a big believer in fear. Fear will keep you alive. But I'm not afraid that he'll get the jump on me, because I'm watching. And I'm used to watching.

Not many are used to watching in the way that he conceives his plans. There are reasons he is dubbed with his title, though I would urge you to trust more than your instincts in matters that regard him. You never know when he's going to form some nefarious plan and blow up the island. He's blown up larger. Well, I use "blow up" as a loose term, it wasn't quite "blowing up," but something rather worse.

I won't go into the details.

Alien armies were also mentioned at one point.
