Considering current events, I'd just like to make a quick PSA encouraging everyone to invest in some breath mints if they're going to be out and about. Because some people really need it. That's all.

I think it's usually more chaste than that, but yep, it's designed to spread good cheer and whatnot.

Of course, people can take that to whatever extreme they want.

Whereas here, the island just does that for us.

[A tight smile touching Rose's lips. She's only encountered the mistletoe twice thus far and with each incident, it had been a very different experience. One quick and aggressive, the other slow and tentative and yet it was the latter that she had trouble forgetting about, though she'd be hard pressed to ever admit that. Ever.]

I mean, as house-mates, are we going to do the whole tree and food and presents thing? Cause I don't mind, I just... Well I probably wouldn't be much help.

I like Christmas. I don't go overboard, but yeah, if you don't mind, I might decorate some. A small tree. Back home, I never have the time to do those kinds of things. I think I'd like to take the opportunity to enjoy it while I'm here, whatever that's worth.

We'll probably still order in for food.

I don't mind. I'm not anti Christmas or anything. It just always seemed kind of pointless to me.

Oh thank god. Because really if you wanted to do the whole Christmas Dinner thing I was gonna suggest crashing somebody else's thing.

Yeah? I mean, it means different things to different people. My family has always been big on togetherness around that time, or they were until I moved away to St. Louis.

No, no, no Christmas dinner. I don't think I could make one on my own, and crashing someone else's sounds weird. Chinese food is a tradition on Christmas for some people, since they're usually the only places that are open.

Chinese works for me though. I'll even pay. Call it my Christmas gift to you... You can clean up and then we're even.
