I know I owe you a lot of explanations. Mostly about the whole "no touching" thing.

I've been a proper bitch about it, but I'm just scared about too many people knowing. A lot of shit goes down whenever someone does touch me, so it's not exactly a pleasant topic. ...Actually, we never really talked about The Storm outside our little shithead group back in Wertham. Skeletons in the closet and all; guess old habits die hard.

I thought that, too... after I remembered everything and started investigating what people were saying on the network. I don't know what caused the mistletoe or the amnesia or what's making everyone say things they normally wouldn't now. Nobody else seems to know either.

It can't be someone's power, though. Not a power like ours. It might be some kind of alien's ability, or magic, or experiments by those doctors or whoever is above them. I'm still testing a couple of theories.

As much as I want to say that everything you've listed off is bullshit... I know it's not. Fuck, Connor's been going on about supernatural stuff since he got here. He might have a bit of loose wiring, but I don't think he's lying about it.

One of your theories will probably be right, as much as I wish that it won't be and that there's some reasonable explanation.

There are tons of people here with supernatural abilities. Mutants and wizards and werewolves... they're everywhere. I'm not sure, but I'll let you know if I find out for sure, what is going on here.

I'd like to talk to you in person.. once this truth-telling thing is over. It wouldn't be fair to you otherwise, I think.

Well... maybe it is. Have you read Harry Potter, or seen any of the movies? Doctor Who? Marvel or DC Comics? There are fictional characters with all sorts of abilities here, Alisha. I'm trying to find out which of them, if any, have abilities that are similar to ours.

And how do we know this isn't more power bullshit? Maybe we were brought here because of some freak's shit power. Maybe all your superheroes were just normal people who hit and now they actually think they're Green Lightbulb or whatever his name is. Have you even considered that?

There are different types of powers, though; you're right. Someone could be pulling people from different universes to see how we all interact. But if those people are fake, then what would that make us?

Since WHEN? I swear, if you were just doing your creepy little thing again and hiding more shit from us, I'm going to be pretty fucking upset. That would have been kind of important to know this entire time.

As for the whole "fictional" thing, I don't give a fuck. It makes us real. I don't care what anyone says. My life back home was real to me, and I'm not about to let some shithead tell me any different. End of story.
