You sure it's telepathy? Skitters communicate using radio waves, so it looks like telepathy but isn't.

I'm sure. They've got biotics and I've watched them remote-control otehr species, which is just plain creepy.

The ability to use dark energy to influence mass and gravitation. It's a side effect of running an electrical current through a form of exotic matter.

The way I was taught, it's hypothetically possible to create a mass-effect field that encourages quantum entanglement. Do that to your brain and someone else's, you get telepathy. Not too many can do that, though.

Biotics make things weigh more or less. They create artificial gravity and allow faster-than-light travel.

They also let trained adepts stop bullets in midair or throw a three hundred kilo krogan five meters into the air.

The 2160 remake fixed most of the problems, although the 2086 version still has better acting.

And the brass making them are never thinking about what it'll be like on the ground floor for us.

I was thinking when I woke up, that if I was gonna kidnap people with shitty lives and lie to them. I'd give them a good life. I thought it'd be something like that at first, but then buildings had blown up and it sounds like people got killed.
