I had often wondered of my Evil-Self. What manner of creature that I used to be, and what sort of nefarious deeds that I preformed in the name of myself. There were many times I thought myself justified in my actions, yet still hated easily for many mess-ups.

The question remains if Loki would have been as he was, bitter and full of hatred, if he had not been provoked.

A question worth one million dollars, as they say.

Magneto did what he felt was right, perhaps unconventionally, and you can't kill people to help them, but he felt justified. Was it possible that one wrong step, if we provoked him in the wrong direction, could it have caused him to fall into the same gyre?

What I mean to say is that I understood.

The easiest way to explain it would be to say that "there is no Asgard without Thor." We are inevitably bound to one another, and that affection is something we selfishly cling to. I ask myself where I would be without Thor, and the answer never takes me anywhere pleasant. There is another side as well, "where would Thor be without Loki?" He believed that his life would be better if he brought me back. My Other-Self ridiculed his sentimentality, but I wouldn't be here without it.

It's how we change. Some of us need more selfish reasons, others need selfless ones. It could be how we ground ourselves, how we build, and how we understand one another. As far as Billy and Tommy, I couldn't begin to try to understand there reasons, but I know that they will be there. As Thor returned Loki to Asgard, Billy and Tommy will morn the loss of their family in some way or another.

Thor and I were never bound by blood, but it doesn't make any of this less true. I suppose you would say that there comes a time when you must find your roots. Sometimes those roots walk with you, and the story goes differently. Family is a complicated matter.
