I've two questions for you, if you'll humor me.
What's your favorite musical number preformed by a popular Midgardian performer, and how would it relate in a moving film put to music in a variety of carefully placed and well-timed explosions?
There's also a possibility of choreographed dance numbers in the foreground, but I've always thought that it takes something special away from the setting.

Who Loki & people stopping him! (also possibly other people)
Where Avengers HQ (sorry again Carol)
When tonight, with explosions.
What explosions!
Warning explosions?
Well-placed was right. Loki watches the dull glow of his phone and thinks that it's much easier this way. He'd almost forgotten how amusing it was to scroll up and down network posts, which he'd done for hours before the island slowly degraded into the harsh reality the future brought. They had been brought here to stop what had been started, and there were seeds to be planted and a future to be changed. Events in the past to change the future. It was as he had heard before, but last time from the lips of Hela. Last time the results had been a cross between precise and erratic. Loki had created his own cage. But now, as who he was, the world looked a lot different from outside of the bars.
For now he kept his thoughts on Billy, and on saving the future. Becoming something that people believed was evil wasn't very difficult. A few well-placed words and chaotic coincidences led to what the Midgardians would equate to a large snowball rolling down a mountainside. The Young Avengers had broken, the New Moore Avengers had broken, the island had broken, and it left them in small groups with scattered ideals. No one had known how dangerous Billy could be.
The digital clock on his phone changes, and he checks the network one more time out of uncontrolled habit, his thumb sliding down the screen. It wouldn't be long until someone showed up to stop him, but everything was already well in place. He stands, awaiting company, balancing himself carefully on the edge of the roof of Avengers Headquarters. He holds his arms out dramatically.
"I would hate for anyone to miss it."

[He said this, looking out his hide-out's window and searching the city with his Reinforced Vision to see if he could spot anything awry from that angle.]

Because it's fun. Though this isn't necessarily modern film, just a particular brand of popular music set to an engaging entourage of individuals surrounding a figure of glowing talent. Though I've heard that presentation may be more important then the delivery, but that's part of the fun.
You seem particularly dry. Have you no thoughts on the matter?

And probably less identifiably creepy.
He doesn't bother responding to Loki, instead taking his spot on the roof of Avengers HQ and grinning all the while. They really hadn't beefed up security yet, or maybe they didn't bother to secure it against him. He wonders what it is. Or maybe Loki unlocked the door. Either way, he doesn't need to hack in and go through the front door to end up on the roof. "Dad" would be upset of one of his proteges couldn't handle that.
After he settles his footing, he yanks off his mask and looks in Loki's direction, lips twisting slightly. "Isn't this my show? But you got me. I followed your distraction."

It's hard to make him out entirely in the darkness, especially in the long cape that's hiding most of his body. It is apparent how quite a bit taller he is compared to how tall he used to be. He tucks the phone back into the cape, somewhere where there's a pocket, and regards him curiously. It is refreshing to see him.
"It is rather nice to see you again, though it may not be under the best of circumstance."

Or rather: the insanity. Yes, Jason thinks. That's the right word for it.
"But here's the thing about plagiarism. There can be only one. So tell me. Who are you protecting? You're not with whoever it is."
no subject
"You. Everyone."
There's a faint, somber smile on his face when the word comes out, but his words are light. It's something he's committed himself to, despite all consequences. No, it was the same Loki. The same person that he knew, ten years in the future. Ten years stuck in this cage of an island.
When he looks up he meets his eyes easily.
"Despite this island's attempts to thwart all that get in its way. Ah, speaking of. Have you figured it out yet? I know that you were one of those fellows with the capacity for it. We're awfully close, aren't we?"
And then he adds, as a side note.
"Worry not, it's hardly plagiarism if thirty-percent of it is mine. I've added enough of a creative twist to make things interesting."

"He wouldn't." Before another though can cross her mind she's tearing across the night sky in the direction of the explosion, uncomfortably close to Avengers HQ.
Apparently he would.
"LOKI!"

"LOKI COME OUT BEFORE I FIND YOU AND DRAG YOU OUT." Yeah, she's pissed. She gets on her phone and screams the same message into it.

But some things are for certain. Some things cease to be a surprise, and some things, when time is in your hands, begin to become predictable with familiarity. When you can be where you need to be, when the moment is right. When, she knows now, you are allowed to be there. But everything was so much easier, in this space and time. Everything was that much more fluid.
"It would be pointless without an audience."

"And the show will be difficult to miss."
There's no surprise in his voice when he sees her. If it had something to do with time, odds were that somehow Aradia had involved herself. They had all really gotten themselves into a mess, hadn't they? He strolls back across the roof, his body still hidden beneath his long cape.
"Did you wish to see the chaos ensue? I do know you love a good show more than anyone else."
no subject
"You're very good at them now." And that wasn't the answer to the question at all. "I've always been watching." That isn't an answer either. "But I am not sure it will have any effect. Unless you're trying to get your past self arrested."
