There's a difference between being drunk and tellin' everyone you're drunk.

[How much trouble could he possibly get into in the three minutes she's gone? She knows there's a corner store that sells water bottles. She grabs two and heads back.]

[In theory, into a lot of it. As it is, however, he's too busy staring at the ceiling and beating himself up in his mind to do much more than that, especially within that short amount of time.]

[Rolls her eyes, coming back to sit down next to him and hands him a bottle of water.] Keep talking to her while you're drunk and you will be fighting.
