video; how to eat peanut butter
Hey! So, I wanted to ask about-- [ excuse the velicoraptor cutting him off and climbing on top of him and nipping at his head ] --oof...Excuse you, Lady McNuggets.. [ He pushes her off and then scoots over to make room while she settles down next to him. We're just going to sit next to a raptor during this. Totally normal. ] ...I've lost my train of thought. Thanks.
I guess I'll start over. Umm. Alright so you're the weirdest pirates ever but I think you're all aware of that. Moving on. Aisling and I had this conversation that got into peanut butter before, which I had never known about and I think is pretty great, and now I'm just kind of wondering about other food. What's like a normal thing that I should really know about? [ he shoves Indy away a bit because she's preening his head but after she insists on doing it he just accepts his fate, drops his hand, and lets her after a moment. sigh. ]
And, well Rapunzel's apparently researching Halloween so I won't ask about that or you're just being repetitive on this. From what I grasped it was like Winternights only you have a costumed sweet-collection going on? Yeah. Anyway, someone mentioned meals too and I doubt anyone's trying to sacrifice things to Jack to ensure a good winter anytime soon- ...They're not right? I'm fine with skipping that one if we're good there-- but it got me thinking about that too. What are the other things everyone celebrates here during the year besides that one coming up?
[ He pauses and glances up at Indy then looks back to the camera ] Also if anyone was looking for a blue parrot, Indy found it before and you're probably not getting it back.

I don't think you're currently the best one to judge what's weird. If you like peanut butter you have to try peanut butter ice cream. And peanut butter soup. I think you'll like the second one more, it's pretty popular in the future.
I don't know, I want to hear more about this sacrificing idea. Why just stick to the regular traditions? There are a lot of different seasonal holidays, and plenty of winter ones. I know the guy who does Christmas, which happens a few days after the Winter Solstice, and there's Easter, which is in the spring and led by a six foot bunny. China should have had their Mid-Autumn festival around now, and if you get to see it, it's pretty amazing. There are lanterns everywhere!
video;
I'm not that weird, am I? ...I haven't actually tried ice cream yet. I should do that. It's really a soup too?
I don't think you do. The sacrificing thing was a regular tradition as far as I knew. But I doubt everyone here would be up for Snoggletog or having the wild hunt or anything if it's just me and the Lokis. [ :T ] ....A six foot bunny? How does a six foot bunny fit in there? What do those entail that you have a six foot bunny? Lanterns sound pretty cool though.
video;
No but I'm not sure how to describe befriending a dinosaur like it's a puppy other than weird. Or awesome. Probably both. I-- you-- Why? Okay, you know what? I'm demanding you go eat ice cream. Right now. Anything can be a soup.
Snoggletog, what kind of holiday is that? Not everyone, but some people might. It could be fun. The bunny who happens to be six foot is the one in charge of the holiday. It's very important to him, so he's ended up being a symbol of it. Most people don't think of him as six foot though, more like two feet and wearing frumpy clothes. They are, there are so many people and there's just so much to see! It's pretty cool.
video;
Weird and awesome? I guess that's better than just weird. -Right now? I don't even know if we have any in the apartment.
It's a winter celebration that involves a lot of partying and appreciating life. And food. All the food. ...But what does he do for that? You think anyone would do that here?
video;
You guess right. Go look! How else are you gonna find out? Go!
I approve of your choice for a winter celebration. Food kind of goes with everything, doesn't it? How about food I like? He spreads hope by leaving...eggs. Eggs for the egg hunt. There are a lot of people. Someone has to.
video;
[ holds his hands up ] Don't rush me. I'll look. [ pushing himself up and bringing this to the kitchen. Sets it up while he goes through the fridge--- No wait. The freezer. 'Ice.' ]
Well, I'm glad I met your approval, Jack. I can't celebrate anything without it. Do you like meat and fish? 'Cause there would be plenty of that. ...You're making that up. What do eggs have to do with anything? Rabbits don't lay eggs. Guess we should ask.
video;
Clearly, you haven't been rushed enough. [He talks more to himself.] Been here for at least a month and still hasn't tried ice cream... [Shakes his head.]
How have you been managing that? Meat and fish? You mean both at the same time. Yes. Why would I make something like that up? No, but flowers do. Cottontail there and eggs are both associated with life, which kind of ties in with the whole Spring thing. We should.
video;
Shut up. I'm getting it. It wasn't on my priorities. I think my roommate only keeps pork in here. [ Shifting things around in the freezer ] What's 'sorbet'? Is that anywhere near ice cream or-- Oh wait. I found some. [ holds the container to show him ] Vanilla?
Terribly. Or separately, whichever way you prefer that. I don't know. Flowers laying eggs? Really? Oh, I get it. It's a new life thing. You can ask first. If I ask, I'll just look clueless since I just asked something.
video;
It should have been. Pork ice cream is probably a thing. Vanilla's a classic. [He nods. Looking serious because this is a serious matter.] You can start with that.
I haven't heard you asking for approval. Terrible is right. Some worshiper you are. No, I want to see how this goes. Yeah, they just bloom from their...petal things and then run off on their tiny legs. You caught onto that quick. And better two people look clueless. Okay.
video;
Pork ice cream doesn't sound as nice as whatever 'vanilla' is for some reason. Why are you making that serious face? Is this a right of passage? [ opens this container. okay. hmmm. logic dictates not eating all of this so he's going to get a cup and a spoon and put a scoop or so into the cup then put the container back. ] Is there a certain way to eat this?
I bypassed your approval and went right to Thor. There's both. It depends on how big the haul is. What kind of flowers are you talking about that they lay eggs that run off on legs? It wasn't hard. Bunny, eggs... fertile stuff. So. Life. As long as I'm not asking alone.
video;
I think it sounds pretty good. This is the biggest most serious rite of passage everyone can ever hope to go through. There's even a big book involved. And fire. Too much fire. Lucky for you, you're getting the shortened version. [it better be a big scoop. he's just watching him oddly.] Messily. Not with a knife. Sometimes with a cone but a spoon will have to work.
I would have forgiven it if you had said anyone else. But since you said Thor, you'll have to deal with my wrath. That's a lot of meat. Magical flowers that grow below the earth and also function as spray paint or something like it. Bunny would be proud. I can ask.
video;
Bigger than dragon slaying. Got it. I appreciate the shortened version. [ it does fill the cup. now he's giving jack an odd look ] A cone? We were lacking in cones. [ Gets a big spoonful of it and looks at it ]
What do you have against Thor? It's a lot of feast and a lot of viking. They spray paint? I guess if they're magical underground flowers controlled by a six foot Bunny with eggs, I can't expect anything that isn't weird from those. Bunny sounds like a decent bunny.
[ sticks the spoon in his mouth after he's done talking and goes completely still ]
video;
Much bigger. I don't think you can fully understand it until you've actually gone through with it. [He knits his brows.] Do you even know what kind of cone I'm talking about? Or are you just pretending you do?
Nothing. Thor's fine. He's not my favorite. How long of a feast? Well, they grow from the ground, and that's kind of normal. He's pretty decent.
[he jumps, perching himself on the top of a chair, and doesn't so much as breathe.]
video;
Okay.
You were right. That was serious. [ yes good more of that. He's failing at trying to not look as thrilled as he is with this. Just going to put another spoonful of that in his mouth now ]
video;
It's the greatest!
[Just wait until you try peanut butter ice cream. Or other flavors.]
video;
[ Way sweeter than honey. He's really enjoying this and wow Jack is excited. Yeah let's finish this cup of ice cream ]
