This is far too short. What was I thinking? [She tugs on the hem, biting her lip.] Maybe if I wore a skirt with it, but would that get in the way of the tail?

I haven't dared to do anything with the microwave yet, frozen pizza and whiskey was enough to live on.

That's alright, the Once-ler and Sheska made it their duty to feed me right every now and then. And I've been a lot less alcoholic recently.

I've been thinking about it. Healing potions and the like are always useful, but I could definitely offer medical consultations for those who would rather see a female?

I think there's a muggle doctor here, among the fictionals, Dr. Watson? Something like that. Have you met him?

I spoke to him briefly. I just don't know how comfortable he is with magic.

Not very, I reckon. You could have some space in my shop, for sure, if we spell it to be a bit bigger on the inside.

She's a faery. True fae, the real deal, like in the stories. [This is so damn exciting to him still.]

I adore her. She lives in the forest, she knows it better than anyone. That's how I find most of the ingredients for potions and the like.

Really? [Come on, she's a girl. Faeries are amazing.] Is she shy or does she like visitors?

[Is there such a thing as Fae Etiquette?]

If she's anything like the Fae I read about, it'll be pretty easy to adore her.

She... Well, either, really. She can be quite childish? She's a child, really, in many ways, but also... Well, you'll see. You just have to respect her and the forest and you should be fine. I used her hair as the core for James' new wand.

It almost makes sense for her to be childish. Fae are supposed to be linked with nature and nothing in nature is tainted.

[She beams.] Well I have to meet her, then!

You do! [He grins.] Fair warning, she might be disappointed you can't turn into an animal. She's come to expect such of my friends.

I'll show her my Patronus. Maybe that will make her feel better. [Humans must be boring to Fae. Animals come in so many shapes, sizes and colors, after all.]

It probably will. She's wonderful, you'll see. And she can help you find what you need for healing potions.

I'd like her even if she wasn't so useful. Even Muggle children dream of meeting Faeries.
