Which do you think is worse? Never waking from your dream, or never being able to dream?

Yeah, and then you get to spend the rest of your life doing whatever you want. Make out with Colin Farrell? Sure. Be queen of all you survey? Absolutely. Superpowers? You got it. All the cake you could eat? Have at it.

I fail to see any downside to this.

If you must know, plastic bags are far worse than both. However, in keeping with your theme, I'd have to say that never waking from a dream of being unable to dream would be a terrible experience.

Perhaps not unlike our own being here in New Moore.
