[ pause. ] Not that it's happened a lot, but I figured once was more than enough. As for the idea of having been fictional before – right. Sure. Somebody really outdid themselves this time around.

Now, I'd ask if anyone's been able to find a way outta this place, but something tells me the answer would be a no. So I guess I'll just stick with an introduction.

The name's Steve Rogers. Anybody know where I can find a good gym around here?

Depends on your definition of 'good', but there's a gym by the university I believe. If not there there, then the local high school.

I'm not all that picky, to be frank. Going by the welcome I got, though, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect.

I'll admit the welcoming committee isn't the best. The 'nonfictionals' here aren't that great. The rest of us, we're a pretty interesting bunch.

Yeah, the welcoming committee was more than a little strange. [ wryly. ] Seemed to really believe what they were saying, as crazy as it sounded.

Strange is putting it lightly, but they are very persuasive when they want to be.

I take it you're still at the hospital?

No, I've been around for a few days. Didn't get a chance to do much yet, though.

It's good to meet you, too, Aqua. You've been here a while?

Ohh, I didn't know. Usually when people are first brought here they post to the network within a few hours.

I've been here a few months, it feels longer than it should be.

If you're not the hospital, I'm guessing you're at the apartment buildings?

Unfortunately, New Moore selections of gyms are limited but there's a relatively small one that has pleasant employees and a rather classic style to it that could be more to your liking than either school gym with it's low-budgeted equipment.

I'll send you directions and a map.

Can I ask what the last thing you remember before you arrived here is?

Sorry, if you want to go to the gym you'll have to trek through a volcano.

Took me a little while to get my bearings, get a feel for the thing. The phone, I mean.

A few months in this place would definitely feel longer than normal, I'll bet. And yes, that's where I am.

[ thoughtful pause. ] The last thing I remember? Waking up somewhere else, about seventy years into the future. My future, I mean. Not sure if everyone else here's from the same ... time. Or place.

Really? I wasn't aware membership fees were that high.

The phone is always a tricky thing to get familiarized with.

Well, this place at least has a sense of time that comes with it. You have a clock and calender to track the days. Other places don't have that and days seem endless.

Would you like to meet in front of the building or should I come by your place?

Membership's free. People were complaining about the prices so we put the gym in a volcano and that got them quiet pretty fast.

[ there's a moment of silence on his end. then his tone comes out a bit softer ]

...I see. The chances of being from place and point as someone are rare here. And then if it does happen, things are most likely still off by a fraction. It can be pretty disorienting for everyone.

My name is Phil Coulson, by the way. I'm with SHIELD. We've kind of met. Twice. Not that you'd remember the first time since you were... asleep. But. I'd be happy to provide any information you might need.

It's different from what I'm used to, for sure.

And in front of the building would be fine, if it's not too much trouble. If it is, you could always just give me directions and I'd be able to figure it out from there.

Can't imagine why. Who wouldn't want to hop stones across boiling lava in order to go a few rounds with a punching bag?

Yeah, disorienting's the word for it. Can't say it was as much of a shock back in New York. But it's good to meet you, Mr. -- uh, Agent Coulson. Again.

Does ... does SHIELD have any intel on this place? And have you been here long?

Now I definitely want to try it out. A sturdy enough chain is something I haven't seen in a while.

[ It's the blue hair that gives him the tip off, and Steve approaches her within a few moments of spotting her, hands in the pockets of his khaki slacks. ]
