Yes, yes, so was mine. But aside from acknowledging the tragedy of dying, we also appreciate the second chance at life. So there's a positive spin on it.

Well, you aren't in your old world anymore, and all of your friends may not be here. A second chance could mean connecting people you wouldn't have met otherwise — I've found that forming bonds with people from worlds different than mine has helped a lot with adjusting to life here. The chances of getting to leave are pretty slim at this point, so you might as well make the best of what you have.
