This can't be happening. This can't be happening... Not yet. Please not yet.

Everyone always thinks it's going to happen in their lifetimes... but who ever actually thinks that they're going to be right?

Well... Whatever happens, happens, I guess. There's still a lot that I would like to do but... If this is the end, I'd rather die with dignity making others comfortable than die cowering under a rock somewhere.

So with or without the other hosts, I will ensure that the Host Club stays open to those who need a place to come and find peace with his or her fellow man, and those who need a friend to hold their hands.

Why did you start calling him that in the first place?

If the Host Club is viewed as a family, Kyouya would definitely be the sensible one, laboring constantly to nurture ans support us. Whereas I, the Father, boldly plan our family endeavors, inspire with my example, and exhibit the firm voice of command!

Well I won't deny that it's inspiring sometimes to hear your boundless enthusiasm, Tamaki. But who's to say that the father is the one who ultimately makes the decisions in the 'family'? Mine wasn't really like that before my mom died. In fact, it was kind of the other way around.

... A father who made strong decisions was someone who I always wanted in my life.

She was very good at them!

But, my mother's decisions were unable to influence my father's family.

And... you think that if she were a man, she would have been able to?

That... that isn't what I mean at all!

I guess with a family as traditional as yours, it wouldn't have done any good if she were a man anyway. In fact, that may have made it worse.

It's kind of strange once you think about it, isn't it?

But I don't really think of it in terms like that. People like who they like. Attraction to another person is just... something natural. Not something that they can really help.

I always wished for a father who would inform his family of his strong decisions so that the family could stay together.

That's why I want to be that kind of Father for the Host Club!
