I been doing a lot of thinking lately. Because I ain't much of a fighting or investigating type, and I'm feeling kinda useless with everything going on and all. But then, I started thinking that even if I can't do those things, I can still support everyone, and that means something to me. I can't sit and feel sorry for myself- it don't help nobody. But being myself does.

What happened to the Earth? Earth-that-was?

Just got used up, is all. She was worn out and all drained. Humankind left and went to find a new home. Now we got all sortsa planets and moons that we live on.

I suppose where you come from is... more advanced than this place?

Depends on where you live, really. The core planets is more advanced, but the further out you go, the more it tends to be farms and ranches and the like.
