Every couple of weeks or so, Karkat behaves in an irrational manner publicly on the network.
It's good to have something to look forward to other than the alarmingly clockwork-regularly mysterious New Moore happenstance such as threatening meteors and apparently trading places with a doomed timeline self.
Despite this, the game appears to have little to no influence whatsoever on the island.
I haven't made up my mind on whether this is a relief or an additional concern,
So I will leave that your judgement.

i think it is more of a relief?
it goes without saying that i am quite skeptical of what we have been told here
and i am not sure that i believe that if it were not real knowing what we know the game is capable of that such things would continue to happen
even if they could bring to life a character from a story
meteors and doomed timelines are something quite different
i am also of the opinion that we should not abandon the game

I concur. Unfortunately I've been unable to work out a way to continue play.
Needless to say not everyone takes the same resigned view on the subject so I've refrained from mentioning it too often.
There does appear to be an account presented as fiction of our various exploits.
It was educational but I'm not convinced it is necessarily proof of a "true" reality.

unfortunately i dont think it will be as simple as finding one of the transportalizers
maybe jade or kanaya could help work something out?
i didnt even ask
now that we are supposedly real can we still continue to do the things we did when we were fictional?
if so maybe we could simply go back and create a stable timeloop
i have never tried to take somebody with me but dave and i might be able to manage something between the two of us

You could certainly try.
However, even the Witch of Space has limits here for some reasons.
There are also things I feel like I should 'know' but don't.
Apart from that, which I suspect to be the influence of the New Moore system itself, there has been no discernible difference between "fiction" and "reality."
I would like to be able to tell you more,
But my inquiries were as ignored as my accusations of the hubris involved in asserting reality is not a fluid concept.

That's an interesting proposition. It would require, I think, some delicacy.
A few weeks' back, another "refugee" tried to instigate some sort of uprising that was met, as far as I have been able to tell, with resounding silence.
I think a different tactic would be necessary if we were to try something.
However I surprisingly enough find myself agreeing with Dave on a few points.
As long as we aren't fixed here permanently - and the pattern of mysterious appearances and disappearances, yours and Dave's included, seems to indicate that we aren't - I am at least content to spend some time regrouping while simultaneously pushing our impending peril further in the future.
