"Oh Hel," is what he says to himself as he runs. Not much later, there's a number of text messages sent out. He's become good at typing and running.

He was out of time.

It may be for the best if you don't let him know that you're affiliated with me. He may not like it, and he doesn't take well to things he doesn't like.

You spoke briefly of your powers that control the stream of Time. Tell me of them. In summary. A very concise summary.

[he takes a few steps closer, but he's still standing his ground. there's an odd innocence to him. someone who hasn't been tainted with the woes of a long life. though the Loki who he was had been much more calculating and malicious than this one.]

Miscalculations don't count in chaos, nor do calculations.

What do you plan on doing here? You're trapped, too.

[He chuckles, still regarding the other.]

Given that I have been here only a matter of hours? I do not quite know yet. As everyone seems to think I will go mad and try to destroy the place I might just lay low for a while. Relax, perhaps earn back that title you seem to think I lost.

[His lips quirk up a bit at the other. He remains sitting, reclining now, actually. He is completely relaxed.]

It's part of the reputation. The mad part, that is. It was part of your doing, wasn't it? When you summoned that monster and destroyed Asgard. I suppose their fears are not exactly misplaced.

[Okay, that got a confused look]

I never summoned a monster to destroy Asgard.

[and his expression changes.]

Then it seems that I must be mistaken.

Who told you I summoned a beast to destroy Asgard? I know the Avengers hate me, and for good cause, but it not in their style to spread such large lies.

It seems something that I've come across in my studies quite often. You being evil and destroying Asgard or Midgard, or this and that for some reason.

My campaign against Midgard was the first against a realm that was not sanctioned by the All-Father and accompanied by an army of Aesir. There is not much to be confused about. And where are you studying this?

An appropriate question. If it's a past or a future, there was madness there. Calculating, deliberate madness. It made you predictable in all of your calculations. As far as what had driven you there, I would like to know myself.

I would like to know where you are getting this information.

I would trust myself to be able to know if you were lying.

I lie an awful lot.

[he manages, quite cooly, despite his situation. the ball in his stomach had unwound, and he felt a new confidence.]

That is something we have in common. You know as well as I do that no one can lie to Loki, not even himself.

[and he keeps his gaze steady. he doesn't drop or flinch.]

Then you should know that I speak the truth when I say that if you do anything to harm this place, that I will stop you.

Of course. But a little mischief might be in order. I hardly think you would protest to that.

Good. You never did tell me where you received your information about me.

[he makes a small motion with his hands, smiling. the same smile he used on Volstagg that seemed to work later in his career.]

I was heading there when you found me.

[and he's taking a few steps backward.]

Oh really?

[He smiled at that.]

Who with?

Another story for another time. They say in Midgard that it's bad luck to jinx a date. Perhaps you didn't know that, but it's true!

[and he turns swiftly on his toes and heads off, giving a faint wave to the camera to cut off the stream.]

[He laughs]

Well, I wish you the best of luck on this date.

[now he wasn't naive. he knew part of the reason he was released without much hassle was because there was simply no where to go on this island. he couldn't run. there was no bifröst here, no way to duck into another realm, and no where to hide. the circumstances were more dire than he let on, and their exchange ... was not something that he would have expected.

he wondered, briefly, what he had wrought. but the exposure would keep things quiet for a while, at least he hoped. he seemed somewhat sincere in his expression of surprise about destruction of Asgard, and he didn't seem to know much of the Void. for the better, for now. he laid his terms, and he knew that his Evil-Self would come for his answers eventually.

but he had just bought himself more time, and that was always important.]
