[The video feed comes on, and there is Kate. She's standing in the middle of her living room, which just so happens to be decked out in Christmas decorations. And she's wearing 6-inch heels.]
Okay, guys, check this out.
[Propping up the phone, she backs away and starts running laps around the living room. An excited beagle jumps off the couch and chases her around. After that display, she stops in the middle of the room and does a pretty impressive roundhouse kick in the direction of nothing in particular. Then she comes back and picks up the phone, barely winded.
Behind her, the dog is jumping and barking.]
Everyone is posting about their awesome super power discoveries so I thought I'd share. I totally figured out mine.

My sister doesn't have any special abilities either, but I'm... Not exactly an expert on how super powers work.

Well, I suppose I might be, at that. I just wouldn't know about it.

We found a cop uniform in my closet and what we think is my name in her phone. And apparently I have great taste in shoes and jackets. But that's about all I know about me at this point.

Kate. Not a bad name. I think I look like a Kate.

[He takes a pause to consider whether Kate could be either his mother or his sister. He didn't think he was old enough to be married yet, but it was hard to be sure.]
At a guess, we are not related, but the point still stands that we could be.

I think the girl I live with is my sister, but I can't even be sure about that. Unless someone around here is willing to run DNA tests, but that seems... unlikely.
There's a kid who thought I was his mom, though.

It is extremely troubling, though. What if there are children who are too young to survive on their own, but their parents don't remember they exist, or how to get home?

Probably I'm simply worrying about nothing, but as even the officials here seem to be affected... Well, I'm just not sure what to do.

I found a police uniform in my closet. I guess that makes me some kind of official so... I'll take a walk around the island. See if I can find anyone who needs help.
[Seems like a good thing for a cop with no memory to do, right?]

[He hesitates for a moment, looking uncertain.]

Sure, that's fine. Probably will be safer with two people, anyway.

All right. I don't like the idea of doing nothing, and we're probably more likely to be able to figure things out and be able to help together than we would be individually.
