HA! Now I know this place is screwing with me. Not that I didn't think it before, what with the whole "suddenly appearing with no memories and no idea who or where I am and a vague sense of deja vu" thing. I finally started looking through things in this apartment I'm staying in since, hey, nobody's come to claim it, so I assume it's mine. But I found some papers and documents with my smiling mug right on them saying my name is Meredith.

Who in their right mind would name their son Meredith, I ask?

Apparently my parents named me Padfoot.

I'm not sure who of us is more hated.

Unless it's false information! Maybe whoever did this to us is just messing with us for their own cruel amusement!

I got it from my own handwriting on the notes in the room I woke up in.

Apparently the bloke I woke up snuggling is called 'Moony', so we might not be the worst off.

... well, that does lend it slightly more credibility. And at least Moony sounds a little more normal. I am not discounting the possibility that we're being screwed with, though.

That part seems obvious, what explanation can there be for half of an island just losing their memories?

You didn't wake up with anyone in your bed, hm?

Thankfully not. I'm not sure I could have handled the embarassment.

The really embarrassing part was falling off the bed and kicking him in the stomach.

Oh, ouch. That's insult on top of injury.

He forgave me, luckily. Not that we figured out yet why we were sharing a bed or if we do that on a regular basis.

You know, that DOES sound frustrating. It could be innocent, it could be romantic, you just don't know.

Currently I guess we're both trying not to make any assumptions any which way. Some things you just never prepare for.

I think it's much better that way. There could be a pefectly innocent explanation behind it all.

I do, too, because I can easily see the population descending into utter chaos soon.

Can't blame them. I'd really like to figure out what the hell I am, the notes I found aren't very helpful.
