I knew this place was full of some kind of magic. People acted like I was crazy.

Memory loss? And trees and plants everywhere. Magic always causes problems. We're all lucky it wasn't something much worse.

Well, think about it. What if you needed to locate a friend because they were in danger? Or to stop time just before someone got run over by a car?

In those instances, wouldn't it help?

I would track them. I don't need magic for that. I don't need magic to stop a car, either.

It could help someone who wasn't me. But I've never seen magic used to help anyone. Only as a weapon. Even when it was supposed to help, all it did was get people killed.

Magic is a tool, just like anything else. I've seen it used for both good and bad.

Also, hell, you've got to be one strong guy to stop a car!
