well given the sudden
i think its more like you just burst into fire out of nowhere
however i am not sure how long it would take to completely combust
im sure someone on alternia experimented with it but i never had reason to look it up
but if its anything like raiders of the lost ark
not a large explosion but complete burning annihilation in seconds

That reference is proof enough. Slow combustion as opposed to a violent explosion. This is certainly something to keep in mind while conversing with mortals.
