[For a change, Sirius actually looks happy as he puts up a new post. This can be attributed to a single fact.]

I've been working on it with Kaylee for a long time and recently I actually managed to fix her up completely. Not quite the same I used to have, but close enough.

[With that he tilts the watch a bit and holds his arm out so a motorcycle he's currently sitting on comes into view.]

She already made it through some rides, so no worries there. Just one question and I'm sure at least one esteemed expert is watching my every move as always anyway and can answer: Are there any air traffic rules for this place?

I'm not much of a clothing critic. 'sides, not as if I've spent much time picturing it our anything, but I really can't imagine you in anything you'd not make look gorgeous.

[Interesting, shameless option, right there. Let him consider this. Like, a lot.]

Well, I suppose it'd be rude not to keep you company.

[Well then... this is definitely along the lines of what she likes hearing. A pleased grin pulls at her lips.]

Guess it's true when people say flattery will get you anywhere.

[Except into her knickers, though that's more due to her power than any other factor.]

Very rude. Just try not to startle me when you show, yeah? Don't want to end up throwing something at you out of surprise.

[He's good with the compliments. And he loves to see her smile.]

Yeah? Not that many places I find worth going to these days, so I guess I'll keep it reserved for you.

[He can try!]

Long as you remember to do that, you're welcome over any time your heart desires. I'll leave the door unlocked.

[There is a pause, there is an odd sound and then his location has changed.]

Is the door unlocked already?

Er, yeah. It is.

[His words are enough to warrant her putting down her phone and peeking her head out into the living room.]

Are you really right out there?

Erm.

Does it freak you out too much, because then I'll say 'No.'

Considering wot I've been through, not as freaky as it could be. But... you might have to explain how you did it.

[Though she walks back into her room to grab her phone, it's only for a moment; it's only a few seconds before she ambles out into the living area.]

I guess I'm supposed to say, "Come in," yeah?

Only if you actually want me to come in.

[But enough playing around. Sirius opens the door and walks in, looking just a tad sheepish.]

Sorry. I apparated, I kind of forget not everyone knows about magic sometimes. It's like... I think the muggle-term is teleportation?

That's useful.

[She flips her mobile shut and pockets it.]

You have an entire bag of tricks up your sleeve, don't you?

[Frankly, it's amazing. Some people hit by the storm were lucky enough to have powers that enhanced their lives, not made things far more difficult; however, it's incredible to see someone with the capability to do things (or to a similar capacity) those individuals could and not be limited to just one ability.]

I'm a pretty capable wizard.

[He says that with all the modesty that suggests that what he's really saying is 'I'm one of the most talented wizards of my generation.', which, to be fair, would be true, even if it still makes him pretty conceited. At least he doesn't say it out loud.]

I think I'll show you some more. But first, I wanted to fix something that went wrong on our first date.

I'm starting to see that.

[Modesty is for nuns and prudes.]

Oh? And wot exactly would that be?

[He has her full attention, to say the least.]

It was a pretty good date, I'd say, as dates go. Bloody brilliant even.

[He flashes her a smile, then lifts his hand, showing the black leather gloves he's wearing.]

Usually I'd have ended a date like that with a kiss, so.

[He kisses his fingertips, tries not to feel silly, then steps up to her and catches her eyes as he presses his fingers up to her lips.

Suddenly it doesn't feel silly anymore.]

[She watches him with hushed curiosity, though a bit of apprehension sits on her shoulders. However, as his motions follow through, she's struck by not only how touching the gesture is, but how considerate. It's heart-warming, in the simplest of terms, enough to bring a true, genuine smile to her lips.]

That... was really, really sweet of you.

Yeah?

[He lets out a chuckle, slowly lowering his hand again and curling his fingers into a fist.]

I was a bit worried it'd just make me look daft. Thankfully that's never kept me from doing anything.

I'm glad you didn't second guess yourself there for fear of being "daft"; pretty sure that was anything but.

If you were looking for a quick way to impress me, well. You did it. Congratulations.

[Though her tone does shift from sincere to playfully coy to keep herself from getting too serious so early on, there is truth to her words. She is impressed. Touched and impressed.]

I wasn't really looking for one, though your friend was nice enough to point out that motorcycles weren't the way to go about impressing you.

[He reaches out now to take her hand in his, smiling.]

I'm just glad the gloves actually worked, because I've been wanting to touch you really badly.

Yeah, yours is neat and all, but I know about as much about motorbikes as I do physics. [Which is to say... basically nothing at all.]

Anything but skin-to-skin should be okay. But I've... never really thought of a bloke wearing gloves before. Probably should've, but never did. Good thing you had the sense to think of it.

[A smile remains on her lips, and once her hand is in his, she gives it a gentle squeeze. Granted, she feels a bit bashful that a solution like this was so blatantly obvious, but it just goes to speak for Sirius' creativity. Well, at least in comparison to her friends back home.

...Speaking of friends...] Er, which one of my friends told you about impressing me?

That's alright, I don't think I know much about physics either.

[He is quite creative. In fact, if he didn't happen to be a wizard, he'd probably have ended up as some kind of crazy scientist. And if there hadn't been a war and assorted other things. But, yeah, Alisha has someone very creative right there.]

Guess I was just really desperate to touch you.

[He smiles, stroking his thumb over the back of her hand.]

Definitely worth it.

And your friend... He didn't give his name, but he said you went to college together and did community service together, too.

Seemed rather protective of you.

Can't really complain about you wanting to.

[At all, really. It's flattering to have someone want to touch her and not necessarily want to go straight into her knickers.]

And yeah, it's totally worth it. [Despite the gloves, the contact is lovely, blissfully wonderful even, far more than she expected it to be. However, going for months and months without any (consensual) contact can certainly deprive a person.]

Ah. That'd be Rudy. We've... had some history together.

I hope not. It's pretty great so far.

[He pauses for a moment, his hand perhaps tightening a bit around hers.]

I know how I felt about touching people in prison. Missing it. I figured you might feel the same. You know. After nothing, just holding hands can feel pretty special. Intense.

[A nod and just the hint of a grin.]

Seemed that way. He likes you.

Intense... that's a great word for it.

[Her gaze lowers to their hands, the curl of her lips slightly fading. As much of a release his simple touch is from her own personal Isolation Hell, it's steadily revealing itself to be bittersweet. As breathtaking as it feels, it's still not genuine contact, and despite wanting to keep a positive outlook, she knows it. If not for the kindness and consideration behind the hold on her hand, she'd feel cheated. It's also a good thing Sirius has empathy on his side; it's hard to still feel robbed of something so basic with that behind the glove.]

So yeah, I do miss it a lot. I'm just hoping it won't ruin anything for us. Kind of a pain to work around, you know?

[Sadly, it's typically proven to make most relationships, even the platonic or casual ones, incredibly difficult, if not impossible.]

Er, he does. To a fault, if we want to be blatantly honest.

[He watches her face as if trying to guess how she feels, what she's thinking. To a degree it works, not that it's all that difficult to guess.]

I'd imagine so. But don't worry, Alisha. We'll figure it out.

[Because he wants to. Partly to just make her happy and partly because of how badly he wants to kiss her right now.]
