Very little. We may try to live our lives here in as normal a fashion as possible, and we have all the superficial little choices that may placate people and make them feel a little more at home - but we can't leave, those in power remain hidden and impervious, and about twice a month the island goes mad and we what little control we had over our lives.

Things always return to normal, eventually, but of their own accord, through no virtue of ours.
