... I needed to get far away. From that boy... and from my friends. I don't know if it's safe for me to be around them right now. So I left. I wanted to keep them all safe.

[It's clear from Aisling's expression that she knows precisely how that goes. The buzzing sense of irritation around her fades and she lets her arms drop to her sides.]

[ Xion picks her head up, a little encouraged by the way Aisling seems to relax. At least, she doesn't feel like she's in trouble now. ]

[She hops up on a nearby stone, crouching frog-like so that she's more on an even level with Xion.]

If you want to come in to someone's home, it's polite to wait for them to offer hospitality.

[But she says it off-handedly, like it's less of a problem right now, and it's clear from the way she cocks her head and looks Xion over that Aisling is more interested in her guest than in broken rules just at the moment.]

There are better places to hide in my forest than the mountain top. What are you looking for?
